WHAT THE OFFICIAL TRAILER ESTABLISHES
This is a trailer and premise preview, not a hands-on review. Netflix Anime’s official trailer says Sparks of Tomorrow, a Kyoto Animation production, begins streaming worldwide on Netflix on July 5, 2026. Its synopsis follows Kihachi Sakamoto and Inako Momokawa as they pursue a dream of an “Age of Electricity” with the 20th Century Electrical Catalog.
The trailer provides an introduction to the premise. It does not substantiate the earlier claims here about the soundtrack, scene-by-scene animation quality, or the series’ status as a seasonal benchmark. Those first-person-sounding evaluations have been removed; no personal viewing is implied.
