The official Black Clover anime website lists Asta as a member of the Black Bulls, with Anti-magic as his attribute. Although he has no magic of his own, he wields a Five-Leaf Clover Grimoire and a sword that can cut through or deflect magic.
Asta dreams of becoming the Wizard King. The contrast between that ambition and his lack of magic is part of what defines his place in the series. The official profile also highlights his physical strength and a strong heart that refuses to give up.
The official anime profile lists Asta’s squad, Anti-magic attribute, birthday, background, goal, Grimoire, and sword.
