Jiro and Rago begin to understand what their partnership requires. The second episode deepens the supernatural rules while showing that inherited shinobi skill is only one part of surviving the war. This episode keeps the series focused on the relationship between inherited power and chosen responsibility. Its supernatural setting is introduced through action, but the character work comes from the decisions Jiro makes when the safest option would be to walk away.
