MOB PSYCHO 100
QUICK TAKE
Mob Psycho 100 uses explosive psychic battles to tell a gentle story about self-worth. Mob’s power rises with his emotions, but his real growth comes from friendships, effort, and learning what kind of person he wants to be. The animation is wildly expressive; the broad comedy can be uneven, but the emotional payoff across three seasons is strong.

POWER IS NOT THE SAME AS GROWTH
Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed Mob, is a powerful psychic who works with Reigen while trying to live a normal life. The series’ official premise sets up exorcisms and supernatural threats, but its central question is how Mob can grow beyond the ability that makes him exceptional. This review covers the complete three-season TV story.
A BIG HEART UNDER THE EXPLOSIONS
The show’s visual style is loose, kinetic, and capable of making a psychic fight feel like a burst of emotion rather than a display of numbers. Reigen’s questionable advice and Mob’s earnestness create comedy, while the supporting cast pushes him toward ordinary effort and connection. A few gags are broad, but the character growth gives the full run a satisfying direction.
VERDICT
Mob Psycho 100 is a complete, emotionally generous supernatural comedy whose biggest battles are about becoming a better person. Its animation is a highlight, but its lasting strength is the kindness at the center of Mob’s journey.
