Season 2 expands My Happy Marriage from a private romance into a partnership tested by family politics, supernatural danger, inherited power, and public expectations. Miyo’s growth is the centre of the season: she becomes more willing to name what she wants, recognize her abilities, and take part in choices that affect her future.
Kiyoka also becomes more fully human as protection and communication come into tension. The relationship feels stronger not because conflict disappears, but because both characters have more honest ways to meet it.
Verdict: Season 2 is a meaningful continuation that broadens the fantasy world while keeping love, agency, and emotional responsibility at its centre.
